According to Foreign Affairs Minister Geoffrey Onyeama, Nigerians who are stranded in Sudan would be transported out by road.
The North African nation is currently experiencing a crisis as a result of a power struggle that has left many trapped.
The situation has prompted demands for the nation's citizens to leave. "Our situation is particularly difficult because the numbers are so high," he said. Some nations, including the US and some European nations, have begun to evacuate.
However, it was actually their diplomatic staff that they were evacuating. They have been unable to begin removing their citizens from that area.
Because they must arrange the evacuation of all those kids we are referring to, we are currently unable to evacuate the entirety of our diplomatic personnel.
Without a security clearance and guarantee from the Sudanese authorities, the FG stated that it was still dangerous to travel toward the Sudanese border.
